weed control

Weeds can quickly take over large areas of your lawn, detracting from its overall appearance. While off-the-shelf weed killers may seem effective initially, they often fail to address the underlying conditions that allow weeds to thrive, leading to their rapid return.

Our lawn weed control service goes beyond just treating the visible parts of the weeds; we also focus on eliminating the conditions that promote their growth. We can create a tailored weed control plan for your garden that effectively removes existing weeds and prevents their regrowth.

We utilize broad-spectrum systemic herbicides that are both safe and highly effective. Our weed control products contain specific active ingredients, such as mecoprop, dicamba, and 2,4-D, which are not typically available in retail products.

Here are some of the weeds we can eliminate from your garden lawn:

- Dandelions

- Speedwell

- Plantains

- Clovers

- Celandine

- Field wood rush

- Couch grass

- Yarrow

- Mare’s tail

- Nettles

- Brambles

- Ragwort

- Daisies

- Buttercups

- Dock

- Ground elder

- Bindweed

Common weeds like daisies, buttercups, and dandelions can usually be controlled with a single application. However, certain weeds, such as yarrow, field wood rush, and celandine, may require multiple treatments. Repeat applications will also help manage new weeds that sprout from seeds carried by birds or the wind, as well as those that were previously dormant in the soil.

Since weeds are approximately 70% water, they typically decompose completely within 14 days of treatment.

Herbicides are most effective when applied during periods of vigorous grass growth—such as spring, summer, and late autumn—when weeds are also actively growing.
